Thanks to the outstanding efforts of the Season One Review Crew, all performances from AI's fabled first season have been rated and cross-referenced as of May 2008.  The combined verdict of the 2002 and 2008 reviewers:  when it was good, Season One was very good, but when it was bad, you were better off watching C-SPAN.  Though it was the lowest-rated season thus far (by a lot), it featured two of the highest-rated contestants, the highest-rated performance, and three of the highest-rated episodes ever (two of which occurred after Tamyra Gray was eliminated, which almost defies belief.)

Sometime soon we'll publish a Season summary article.  Somebody named Kelly won, we think.
